Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced MRI Technologists to support diagnostic imaging services for Veterans at the VA Portland Health Care System. This role is hospital-based and requires recent hands-on MRI experience in an acute care environment.

Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced MRI Technologists to support diagnostic imaging services for Veterans at the VA Portland Health Care System. This role is hospital-based and requires recent hands-on MRI experience in an acute care environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced MRI examinations (head, spine, abdomen, chest, extremities)
- Operate superconductive MRI equipment in a hospital setting
- Follow MRI safety, infection control, and VA imaging protocols
- Accurately document exams in electronic medical records
- Participate in rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as required
- ARRT (MR) certification (MRI specialty required)
- AHA BLS certification (current)
- Minimum 2 years MRI experience
- Hospital MRI experience within the last 6 months
- Ability to commit to a minimum 6-month assignment
- Experience in high-volume or Level I/II hospital environments
- Familiarity with PACS / RIS systems
