Ultrasound Technologist

Cetechs is seeking highly qualified Ultrasound Technologists for the VA Portland Health Care System. This role directly impacts veteran patient care through performing ultrasound examinations and maintaining accurate medical documentation.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist with strong vascular and biopsy experience to support diagnostic imaging services for Veterans in a hospital-based setting.
Responsibilities:

  • Perform abdominal, pelvic, scrotal, and vascular ultrasound exams
  • Conduct renal Doppler and renal artery stenosis studies
  • Assist with ultrasound-guided liver and renal biopsies (native & transplant)
  • Ensure image quality and proper documentation in PACS/RIS systems
  • Participate in on-call and emergency ultrasound coverage
Required Qualifications (No Exceptions):
  • ARDMS (AB) + two additional ARDMS specialties (total of 3)
  • AHA BLS certification (current)
  • Minimum 3 years hospital ultrasound experience
  • Hospital vascular lab experience within the last 6 months
  • Demonstrated expertise in vascular ultrasound and guided biopsy procedures
  • Ability to commit to a minimum 6-month assignment
