Occupational Health Registered Nurse (RN)
Cetechs is hiring for an RN to provide support to the Department of Labor at the Frances Perkins Building Occupational Health Clinic, Washington, DC. The clinic's primary function is to provide occupational health services such as job related physical, fit for duty evaluation, immunizations in accordance with DOD/DLA Regulation/Instructions, OPM Classification and Qualification Standards and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, as well as minor work-related medical care for workplace injuries and illnesses.
The Nurse will work at individual Nurse Stations under the direct supervision of a licensed Occupational Medicine physician. They will provide services to include over-the-counter medications, blood pressure checks, health counseling, sprains/strains, abrasions, epigastric complaints, conjunctivitis and foreign bodies in eyes, headaches, applications of ice/heat packs, etc. First aid for minor injuries and illness will be provided, and appropriate palliative care for the individual to return to the workplace.
RN will have:
- A minimum of 2 years of full-time occupational health nursing experience.
- Knowledge of the medical requirements in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and counseling individuals in health topics and familiarity with issues related to workplace hazards.
- Licensed in the State
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
- Healthcare documents as required (i.e., annual physical, TB, etc.)

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Monday - Friday)
No Holiday
No Weekend
