Position Overview:
The VA Portland Health Care System is seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) to perform diagnostic imaging services in a hospital-based radiology department serving Veterans.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and complex X-ray exams in an inpatient setting
- Operate radiographic equipment following radiation safety standards
- Perform portable imaging throughout the hospital
- Maintain accurate exam documentation and patient records
- Work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed
- ARRT (R) certification
- AHA BLS certification (current)
- Minimum 2 years hospital X-ray experience
- Hospital X-ray experience within the last 6 months
- Ability to commit to a minimum 6-month assignment
